We stopped in to check out the poker room on our way north from the Bay 101. The room was almost exactly as we expected for early afternoon - one table of 3/6 limit going with all locals. The staff was friendly and informative, and the comps were not bad (I think a buck an hour?). We got a pretty nice gift from the casino itself for getting a players card, but that is not related to the poker room.
The "competition" was as expected, with only 1 player that could be considered a threat. The room promotions included splashing the pot with various amounts ($10 - $50??) every hour depending on a random wheel spin, and all the Monte Carlo bonuses and a bad beat. All those bonuses have a tendency to make weak players even worse, but frankly, I didn't notice a lot of holding out for 'runner-runner' in this game.
All in all, it was a pleasant way to spend 2 hrs break while on the road. I would go there again, given the same circumstances.
