Ultimate Poker to Host Live Poker Tournament Series
Ultimate Poker, known as the first-ever legal online poker site in the United States, will soon be hostings its own live poker tournament series. The poker site will hold the Ultimate Poker Challenge tournament series from Aug. 30-Sept. 8 at the Red Rock casino (which is owned by Ultimate's parent company, Station Casinos).
The series features 14 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $120 to $550, along with a slew of satellites into its $1,100 buy-in, $200,000-guaranteed main event. The main event kicks off on Friday, Sept. 6 with two starting flights, day 1A at noon and day 1B at 7 p.m. Days 1C and 1D are the following date at the same times. The main event is currently scheduled to be a two-day event, crowning a winner on Sunday, Sept. 8.
Expect to see plenty of satellites running for the tournaments on Ultimate Poker's software, as well.
