WSOP circuit
Played last night in a daily $135 buy in with WSOP. When the big boys like WSOP don't do it anymore does anyone? The structure sucked. 20 minute blind levels are terrible! I can see local casinos doing that as not to tie up their rooms, but,,,, the WSOP? I haven't played a tourney of stature like the wsop used to be, so I was very surprised!! Plus,, for 2 months I tried to find out the structure. Not on website, and they're is no phone for wsop. Asked 4 wsop floor men, and nobody knew they're organizations phone #. They tell me Jack Effell's in charge, & Johnny Grooms works there as well!! What hurts is both these guys learned at the feet of Ken Lambert at the Shoe in Tunica where I played. Boys, I'm ashamed of ya. Is there no tournament left that gives a player a chance to play poker instead of bingo??!! Looks to me like pokers on life support and about dead; at least in Tunica. All the powers that be want is to get as much money from a player as they can and get em out as fast as they can,, and they're killing the game!
Since I don’t see 135$ buyins for the wsop circuit at Tunica, I assume you were playing some sort of satellite……
@Smeagol8 they didn’t call it a satellite. They’re term was… daily. 185 participants. Never saw a satellite have 185 players
@memphislegend What was the starting chip stack? It sounds like the Daily Deepstacks that the WSOP has at the Rio.
But those have 30 minute blinds
@Smeagol8 exactly.. started with $15,500
@Smeagol8 well, Thursday night was 20 minute. It’s like bingo. No time to play. They’re killing the game, and getting rich doing it. Shame on you Jack Effell
@Smeagol8 at least as a
@memphisleyou played a BS nightmare daily DURING a WSOPC series I'm assuming because no real circuit events are $135 thats why 20 min levels LOL gend
