Alternate Tourneys During WSOP
Trying to figure out what else to play during WSOP when I'm not in an event. I know of some of the series going on but just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on tourneys and maybe making some fast money at the cash tables. Any ideas?
Venetian DSE is always great of course. The side events at WSOP were pretty juicy last year and I'm sure since they're not doing the Carnivale stuff they'll be even better. The series at Golden Nugget is pretty good and draws a decent field.
It's a little early to be asking that. Historically Venetian gets the major draws outside the WSOP but we'll see what everyone posts in the next month or so.
There's so many great options during this time. Venetian DSE, Golden Nugget have already been named. Also expect Wynn, Aria, Caesars Palace and Binion's to have series.
The three daily tourns at the WSOP venue (non-bracelet events) get huge crowds, especially the 3PM at $235--easily over 1,000 runners a day.
If you want cash, the games at the WSOP venue itself are known to be wild and loose. Great action but be prepared for a large variance.
But the fact is, almost every poker room in Vegas has great action during this series. You almost can't go wrong. That's why it's such a great time to be in town.
