  1. Depends where you play. But overall, tourneys are more chill than cash tables.

  2. @Smeagol8 depends on the stakes, and what type of game table you're at. Remember, DO NOT GAMBLE in a game you don't know how to play. The object of any poker game is to win as much as money as you can. Usually the lower limit tables are a bit more aggressive because it's cheaper to play, so you're going to get a lot of people calling you down and going all in before the flop with any kind of cards.

If the table is like that, the best thing to do is play the opposite way. Only play premium hands if someone keeps raising over the top every hand. Anybody can win and be lucky, understanding how the game works and developing the skill, is always going to win you more money in the long run.

My suggestion to you would be play for free money on poker sites or apps that you can get the

  3. @sm0kestack1983 whoops sorry I got cut off there. But the free money games will get you familiar with what hands to play, and how to understand which hands play in which positions better. Position is something you want to understand, and gain all the information you can about what is going on. That is always helped me win good $$ .. in the beginning of a Texas hold'em hand, the best position for that time is the big blind because he gets to see everybody else act before he does. You gain the most information at that moment in time. Once the flop comes out, if the dealers button individual is still in the hand. He will assume the best position. The worst position is called the "under the gun" position which is the person who must act first in any hand.

  4. @sm0kestack1983 I might add I'm sorry I forgot to say that object of any poker hand is to make the best five cards. And when is much money as possible doing so. So that being said, I hope you enjoy learning how to play. If you are a beginner again I got to stress to you, play for free games or even just micro limit stakes. If you can find some places anymore that are online that let you play for literally pennies. I mean $0 turn into $600 free rolled my way up to it. One like three dollars in a 3000 player tournament on PokerStars, and took myself over to the microlimit tables playing for pennies .. 1¢-2¢ NO LIMIT .. then .. 2¢-5¢ .. 5¢-10¢ .. 10¢-25¢ .. 25¢-50¢ .. $1-$2 NL Ring Games are still LOW STAKES, but I made it there starting with $0 for a reason. Definitely I don't think it was much luck maybe some of it was, but I got an understanding of the game beyond a beginner or novice individual just learning. In my city got the casino finally, and I was able to play in a real poker room inside a casino, and played Semi-Pro for several years until a new company took over, and then covid hit. But that's how you developed your game. Or how I did it anyway and remember it's an information game more information you get the more power you have and controlling a hand & the table itself.

But remember, online play is a lot faster you see a lot more hands and a lot more out-drawing will happen to you. The casino environment you see less hands in an hour then you would online, so you have less of a chance of being drawn out on, and witnessing the lucky crazy hands & casino settings are not a friendly one they're not there to make friends with you they're there to take your money. Remember that.
