This was my 5th time in vegas and the 1st time i played poker. I'm an avg player trying to get better....

i was in vegas for 5 nights and 6 days....i had been playing blackjack most of the time and wanted to try out the poker rooms in vegas..

i started off at the PALMs.....avg players at the no limit hold em table....played 2 hours and won $150...i messed up with quad queens and didn't milk it....

2nd time i played was at mirage.....played 2 hours at the no limit table..

i had ACE 9 of hearts.....after the flop this girl goes all in on me..the flop was 10 jack(hearts) and ace....i figured she had 2 pair which i was right..her all in play was $700...i called it since i had straight and flush draw and a pair of aces already....
the turn was ace and river a 9..i killed her...

the competition at mirage was surprisingly avg...

2 hours i won $1500
