Mandalay Bay - My favorite place to play. Best mix of actions with locals/conventioners/vacationers/young on line players. Played 2-4 no limit. Room is run well and no wait for drinks. Right next to sports book. One local (wearing a poker hat, poker sweatshirt and a poker shirt), got very upset when a a vacationer called his all in (only about 175) of AA. The vacationer's QQ beat him on the turn. The local went ballistic and was very upset. He announced to the table that he plays 50 hours per week and the QQ call was horrible. Oh well.

Venetian - 2-5 no limit. Good action. Tough competition. A lot of big stacks. However, there appears to be a lot of players with overconfidence. If you play your cards and position right and read the player right, you can make A LOT of money here. Seemed as if a lot of young locals play here.

Bellagio - 2-5 no limit. Everytime I come here, the same locals are always in the room. They like to keep it quiet that they are local. Action is good and aggressive.

Red Rock - 2-5 no limit. I was staying at the Marriot for a convention in Summerlin and the Red Rock was the closet casino with a poker room. It is a new hotel and its very nice. Poker room is large and comfortable. Mostly locals - young and old. All the players were good. Action occured only when people had playing hands. Lots of limpers. I did not see many bluffs. I would come back here.
