My flight touched down in the great city of Las Vegas, Nevada at about 10:40 on 12/17, by the time a friend got there to pick me up and I finished checking in at lovely Bally's Las Vegas it is about 12:30.

My first move is to walk over to the Bellagio pokerroom and sit in a 2/5 NL game. I get seated right away with no wait buy in for the min $200 and I begin to play my game, which is pretty tight, passive with a tad of agression when I feel I have the winning hand. Grinding along for about two hours when i come across this hand against a local who raises every pot. I get A/7 of spades in the big blind, over agressive local raises on the button i call; flop comes all 3 spades, I have flopped the nuts. Over agressive local raises i smooth call after thinking about it for a few mins then we do the same betting pattern on the turn card. River comes another spade I check to the over agressive local he bets enough to put me all in and I insta call and take down a big pot doubling up my buy in. Very next hand i go at it with the same guy who raises pre flop against my pocket 8s take down another pot,and am up to about 550. Another hour goes by of dead cards, then i pick up what i like to call the ultimo cooler...... me and 3 others limp to the flop i am holding q 9 of clovers. Flop KsKc4c, one guy bets out about 25 i call everyone else folds. The next card comes a clover, so I have hit the 2nd highest flush possible; he bets 75 I insta push all in. After he thinks about it for 10 minutes he calls and flips K4( he flopped the full house) and he has me covered so i lose all my chips. So i walk back to Bally's go to my room for a bit try to let some steam out then i decide to go down to Bally's and sit down with $100 at Bally's 1/2 NL. Still semi steaming from the beat I just took at Bellagio and after being card dead at the Bally's I decide to make a move i usually don't an all-in bluff against an obvious noob. Anyone who has ever played with noobs knows rule #1 is don't try to bluff one of course she calls and my K high loses. So i high tail it back over the Bellagio and grind for a few hours making about 50 bucks and decide to grab some food and call it a night since its already 8 am.

Day 2 comes around I get down to the pokerroom at Bally's at about 3pm and sit down at a 1/2 NL buying in for the min $100 dollar again. At this time the table was mostly tourists as compared to the night before when it was mostly locals. Don't remember to many hands from this session just remember leaving the pokerroom at Bally's winning $200 after playing for about 3 hours. I go grab some room service with some of my winnings and watch the monday night football game i bet on. After the game ends i chill out in my room for a bit then head back down to the Bally's pokerroom around 9pm play for another couple hours making about a $100 in the 1/2 NL game, go back up to my room and decide i should take a couple hour break. After my break ends I am back at Bally's 1/2 sitting with the $100 dollar min. Grind it for about four hours just to get to $250. Then i limp with pocket Ks( which i never do!) and some lady caught 2 pair so i drop around $100 there. The very next hands pocket 8s are delt to me, i pump it up to 15 get a several callers. On the flop another snowman(8) comes out, I have flopped trips and check then have someone betting into me with 1 caller behind him. I make the smooth call and do so again on the turn as they pump up the price a bit causing the original raiser on the flop to fold his hand. The river card comes out it is another snowman(8) I have hit quad 8s I check it to the local behind me after he thinks about it for 5 mins he decides to put me all in I insta call double up and hit the progressive high hand jackpot, 293 for quad 8s. I stand up a few hands later leaving the room with about $650 or so as I picked up another small pot before I left. Throw the dealer that delt me the quads a couple of 5 dollar chips and go back to my room calling it a night around 6 am.

Day 3 wake up pretty late and dont get down to the Bally's pokerroom till about 5pm sit at my usual 1/2 NL with the min $100 lose it in about two rounds of the blinds, then take a 15 min break and do the same again as my KJ offsuit ran into KJ offsuit with a flush draw and he hit his flush. Down about $200 so far right off the bat. At this point i decide to try some tournies at Paris as i am looking for a nice change of pace. Jump into Paris 7:30 tourny for $65. About 29 players i grind it until the final table then i try to just survive to cash after my pocket Jacks took out AK on the 1st hand of the final table, which turned out to be a not so good move by me as the short stacks continued to double up and get lucky; next thing I know 5 players left and I am short stack. I am forced to go all in with an open ended straight draw as i dont have many chips left at all and miss, finishing 5th when top 4 paid. I had alot of fun so i decide to play in the next tourny they offered same buy in about 34 players which ment top 5 would pay. Second hand of this tourny about 6 limpers in front of me I am priced in with any two cards so seeing Brunson(10/2) suited in clovers was more than good enough with those pot odds. The flop comes all clovers, player 1 bets players 2 reraises( both of which i have played with at Bally's cash game before) everyone else folds then it comes to me I reraise, player 1 goes all in with less than both of us, player 2 goes all in I call. Neither has a clover only thing i am trying to dodge is a full house and i did so more just about tripping up on that hand. After that i coasted to the final table, waiting for a nice hand and I get it in my big blind, as the table folds around to the small blind she raises i reraise all in with my pocket Ks she calls with KQ suited, the pocket Ks hold up. I coast to the final 3 and let the other two guys go at it and one of them eventually got knocked out. I am now heads up I have about 40% of the chips he has about 60%. We go back and fourth for about an hour then i push all in with my pocket 6s he calls with A7 offsuit an A falls and thats that. I take home 406 for 2nd prize. Go back to my room at Bally's and do what I do then I head back down to Paris. This time only 11 players 3 of which had never played texas hold'em. I play it smart as I usually do and let them take each other out picking my spots next thing i know me another guy and one of the ones that had never played are the final 3. I take the noobie out then go heads up with a guy who had been playing very loose which in the end cost me 1st prize as I had a slight chip lead after he goes all in with A6 off and i call with K10 suited and catch a river 10 to give me the hand. A few hands later I hav KQ spades he had AJ spades and all the chips go in, his hand holds up. He has about a 10/1 chip lead so i go all in in the dark and his hand beats mine. I take
2nd place 164. Pretty tired at this point and I end up going to the room and going to sleep around 530am upset that i missed the snow.

Day 4 I wake up pretty late decide to head straight to Paris and enter another tourny, I go out in the second level of blinds with my pocket 6s lose to A2 suited. Play the next tourny after that and once again make it to the final table but then I get bounced out when we go all in pre flop 3 way my 1010 vrs AK offsuit vrs KJ offsuit. An Ace fell and i went out of the tourny 7th with top 5 paying. At that point i decide to go back to Bally's cash game and lose another quick 100. Then one more tournament and i get eliminated early as i lose the 1st hand with pocket Js to quad 8s for a big pot and then go all in with my pocket 4s and run into pocket rockets. I give Bally's cash game 1 more go and lose once again pretty quick. At this point i am pretty flustered with my results so far this day so i decide to change it up and head to the Aladdin played for about an hour then lost my inital 100 and decided to call it a day after my bad lucky run.

Did not wake up on time to get an poker in before my flight but overall a very fun trip! I came home with 500 more than I left with and i am guessing I spent around 1000. Looks like 3rd times a charm, 1st time i have came back with extra money from Vegas. Great trip and thanks to this site for all the help in planning it!!!
