5 Days of fun in the sun!
I stayed at the Flamingo this time in Vegas in one of their Go rooms. The Flamingo still looks a little old but the rooms were nice for what I was paying. On to poker:
My first day there I played at the Flamingo's poker room. Simple and nice room, nothing too fancy. Played with a real fish named Dave. He would throw in 15$ on a 1-2 board no matter what. I got QQ and threw out a decent bet. He called. I hit a Q on the flop and took a decent pot off him. Later on a hit a nut str8 and won another decent pot. Other than that, the Flamingo really wasn't the happening place for poker on the strip. A lot of regulars there. The dealers were not the best either.
Next place I played at was Bills... yeah I know. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff, very friendly and cool guys that I wouldn't mind hanging out with but dealing me cards without an auto-shuffler, not so much. They are either new there or are weak dealers. Tons of mistakes with the hands, the rakes, and keeping the game moving. I was only there because my cousin likes it and for the AA cracked promotion. I played there twice. You will not make a lot of money there. It is good for people very new to the game only. Lastly, someone named "Kevin" scammed my cousin out of some money pretending to be a NHL hockey player. He ended up taking dingus (my cousin) to the high stake room over at Caesars and took him for about 300.
Next up was Caesars... I know that Vegas had the WSOP going on and there was a lack of good dealers/floor but wow I swear the lack of any order whatsoever there made me NOT want to go back. They had too many seats open spread across 5 1-3 tables with a list of 20+ players and still couldn't keep any table 10 handed. None of the dealers seemed to care either. I left.
Last place I played at (over 48 hrs worth) was the Bellagio. I cannot say enough good things about this room. It has excellent floor, dealers, and waitresses. I stayed there for the rest of my trip. First night there was pretty bad lost with JJ, QQ, and AA. I also could not win a hand to save my life. Next day I hit 3 sets, 2 str8s, and a bunch of top pairs. The rest of my cessions were the same. I love the O.
I'm already planning my trip back!

I agree, some of the dealers at the Flamingo act like they don't give a sh*t about their jobs and they make a lot of mistakes. I was on the wrong end of 2 mistakes there and instead of apologizing, one dealer just shrugged (older male) and said "What can I do?" and the other (female) gave me an attitude for the rest of her down after I said, "C'mon, your killing me here!". First mistake cost me under $20, second mistake with the female was a big one.
Whenever I play there now, it is because it's a really good game and I keep an extra eye open to all dealer activity.
I agree with mr_railbird. The Flamingo dealers are bad. I sat at a table with the worst dealer I have ever sat down with. She could do very little right and made the short time I played at the table a miserable experience.
@somedudeinblue
can you elaborate? I'm curious as to how.

I was playing at Bellagio at the time and I got a text from my cousin. He said that he was talking to this guy who had a ticket to a WSOP satellite tournament that cost him $1,000 and wanted to sell it to my cousin for $88. I told him to stop talking to the man at that point. My cousin didn't listen and continued talking to this guy. I got a few more texts about how I'm wrong about this guy and he totally legit. I then texted "no one with any connections to the WSOP would be playing .50 1$ at bills." He didn't believe me and told me he knew what he was doing. Few hours later and plenty of 12 year old scotch with guinness chasers in my system, my cousin texts me again and says how wrong I was and that he is living it up at Caesar's high stack baccarat tables for $100 a hand and how him and Kevin were going to split everything 50/50. Of course Kevin was holding the money. He then texted how he and Kevin were going to hit the town and that he couldn't go into more details because he was too busy drinking 18 year old scotch. (we are both scotch drinkers btw) By this time a few people at my table knew the situation and said let him learn. I sent him one last text: "Hey get away from that guy before he takes your money." Later on that night (I was quite drunk at the time) we all met up. Of course my cousin and his friend were back at our room . Thank God another friend of mine was stone sober and watched Kevin like a hawk. After that I crashed because the scotch got to me. I guess Kevin took a shirt, pair of shoes and jeans and $300 off my cousin. It could have been worse....

He wasnt watching that closely then was here. So what did you think the scam was with everything else knowing?
