Aladdin and Harrahs NL Tourney's by a Rookie

I played the 10 A.M. Aladdin tourney and was presently surprised by the service, professionalism and the overall tourney experience. Lots of beginners, just looking for a good time. This was my first tourney, ever playing at live tables (I'm a big time online poker player). This tourney in my opinion was much better than the Harrah's tourney, which I'll describe next. I didn't take advantage of the free coffee and donuts, but the drink service was good during the tourney. I ended up taking 15 out of 111, which I didn't think was too bad for my first tourney.

The Harrah's tourney was not my favorite. I didn't like the type of clientelle it attracted. Many older, wannabe professional poker players. I did not like how you could start with double the chips of everyone else (they allow the re-buy, before you are out). So one guy who did this tried to buy the first 2 pots, got called both times by a rookie and got beat on the river (amazing, but nice). I would overall recommend the Aladdin tourney for atmosphere and fun.
