Got in on monday, 6/26 and went to MGM for 2/4. lost $80 in 4.5 hrs. i would have won 5 hands in that time period was i was not going to pay $8,$12 to see the river even if all i needed was 1 card for a flush or 1 card for a straight. I was very will ing to go $4 though. Too gun shy i guess?

Next day,tue,luxor $50 NL and at 1 time i was up by $53 dollars but after another 4 hour session my net was -$48. found harrahs and played 1/2 NL only for about an hour,dinner engagement, did profit $16. i was surprised as i thought harrahs had no auto shufflers. ok room though drink service ssllooww in my opinion. wed was 1/2 NL MGM and i had my pocket Q's cracked by pocket K's for -$140. i still played on and after recovering to -$128 i left the table. damn busy and crowded at MGM but well run!

Final day was spend getting thinks for my daughters and spending time at the pool. left at 1:30p for a 4p flight. i think overall i lost about $350. the only bright spot was the guy who cracked my pocket Q's an hour later again had pocket K's, was cracked by pocket rockets,just not my pocket rockets. overall i think i played well but i was not prepared for the big dollar loss's. i did feel 4-5 hours of play was a decent measure of my ability,or lack of.lol

I will have a better mental prep and bigger bankroll to play NL on the oct trip. patience is also is a MAJOR part of NLHE.
