Damn my feet hurt!

Stayed downtown on 1st night. Yes, smelly downtown. Smokers everywhere, complete with a toothless guy hitting on my wife as I stand next to her. We both laughed!

Sunday afternoon I sit at a $3-$6 limit in Binions. Down about $50 after an hour when I rake a fat one after a pair of fives turn into a Full House. After that I am unstoppable. My pocket K-Q runs down big slick. I flop a straight when my 5-7 see a 3-4-6 board and my opponent starts raising and reraising! (I kept staring at the full board after the river to make sure I had the nuts, yep). In 3 hours I quit with a $240 profit and $6 of Binions comp. Very nice, thank you Binions!

Next day me I head for the strip. I take the double decker bus for only $2 each. Will never get that hour of my life back because it was long trip and crowded.

Staying at Bally's I head across to Bellagio to the 4$-$8 limit game. Staying even or just a tad bit ahead, I start talking to the player on my left. He lives about 30 minutes from me I find out. Well, he starts getting peeved when his free drinks don't come fast enough. Gets up and goes looking for someone to complain. He then starts berating the players when he loses. I try to calm him, but he gives his wife a verbal barrage when she comes over wanting more cash to gamble - in front of the whole table. Says he is blaming her if they can't pay next month's mortgage. God this guy can't be any fun to travel with (or be married to). He then beats my Full Boat with Quads. So time to disassociate myself from this nutjob. I quit down $105 after about 4-5 hours.

Next day early evening I take the elevator to the casino to check over the Bally's room where I am staying. Much smaller room and the crap table nearby is loud, but I quickly find a find a golden nugget. When I lean to table level to check my hold cards I can see the cards of the player to my left! Nice tell? Maybe? Well I can see that he plays anything suited or one gapped. He also has a nice stack in front of him because he hit the quad 6's jackpot for over $200 earlier. Anyway I am in the small blind with A-5 and I can see his big blind of 5-3. I call after 3-4 limpers. Flop comes A-3-5. I know I've got a tiger by the tail! Thank you my vegas local-card showin'-weak playing new buddy (I make easy friends with him). 90 minutes, up only $48. Pocket cash.

I quit and walk over to the Bellagio for some more 4-8. Same table and same chair as the day before. Smoking hot babe sitting on my right but she drops her $100 in 30 minutes when she doesn't raise with premium hands and gets called down every time. Whew! She was gorgeous. (If she reads this, please find a way to contact me:) Dinner is always arrangable!

I am down about $75 of my $150 buy-in when I make a comeback. My big slick takes one down. Also I raise in early position with J-10 off. One caller goes all the way to river and folds when I keep betting (the board never helped me). Then I flop a straight with my 8-10 from the button after 4-5 limpers. Nice pot! The guy on my left is cool. From Pittsburg. Came here for a freeroll that he won an entry seat for from back home. Much better to talk to than the obnoxious attitude of the player that I commented on earlier in very same chair from the day before.

The Bellagio Pina Colada's are nicely mixed and very tasty! After 3 hours up only $80 after I flop another straight but get rivered by a flush.

Overall about a $260 profit, free drinks, small comps and lots of smiles from the experience. Hope to go back this winter.
