Headed down to Wynn for some 1/3. Great thing for Wynn guests, you can call down to get on list and they will calll you when table is ready...You can also view the wait list from the TV in your room... Played @ a very tough table with muti-way action each hand... Got no hand except big draws which never hit... Went down 150 very quick.. Get in a multi way hand with 175 left in front... I get a straight flush draw on flop and come over the top of a 25 bet with all-in. Bettor calls with top pair and I miss my flush. Oops, lose 300 in an hour.

I headed over to the Venetian 8pm Tourny.. There was approx 85 in $175 tourny I never get any big hands, but manage to raise in position to keep stack close to average.. As the blinds and antes keep increasing and 20 players left (9 paid) I played small stack poker perfectly.. i never called with bets in front and only bet was all-in with no action in front.. It finally got down to 15 and I get 66. I stack in front goes all-in and I make the decision to join him in the pot.. He tables ACE Ten and were off to the races... He does not connect and I get a thrid 6 on the river to seal his fate and double me up... I go back to solid play until we get to final table.. It became a game of chicken with 3 small stacks until the bubble busted.. 3 were knocked out in front when I get K/Q suited in late position.. I go all in andget called by BB who has 77..I never improve and bust out 7th for a $625 payout.

I played in the noon caesars the next day. I was at a very solid table and played position poker.. I never had a monster hand and had 2 dodge 2 large on my left... We get down to 25 out 62 left and I get Ace 9 suited 1 off the button.. Big blind calls with A/J and I fail to double up... The noon caesars seems like a good value @ 7500 chips for 200, but the antes / blind increases at level 3 and 4 make this tourny a crap shoot. I prefer the Venetian over this tourny.... By the Way... Venetian has great drink service and Caesars was OK...

I played more 1/3 and BJ at the Wynn on Tuesday with no major swing either way... I lost about 250 playing BJ..and broke even on the day for Poker...

  1. You are correct- staying at the Wynn and having the poker liston your TV is awesome. IT is great to call down and get on the list, and you can see how busy the cash games are. Plus the Wynn is an awesome hotel- the best I have stayed in Vegas.
