Arrived in Vegas at noon on tuesday. I dropped my bags @ my room at Paris (2 nights free)and immediately went to Bellagio. The room is semi-crowded. Its a great room and the dealers are top-notch. No mistakes my day and they are friendly for the most part I got on a 2-5 N/L table immediately and bought in for max. I went card dead except for some A/J, A/Q, small pairs, ect that never went anywhere. I finally get kk in mid-position and raise to 25 and got 4 callers (not good). Flop comes 9 5 2 rainbow. It comes to me and I fire a bet of 75 and get 1 call. Turn is 10 and caller checks and i bet 125 - promptly re-raised all-in. I have to call the additional 150 and opp shows pocket 9s. River no help and I re-buy for 500. Play until 6pm and lose another 100. ( Minus 600 for Bellagio)

I head over for the 8pm tourny at Caesars on Tuesday night. Buy-in is $125 with one 100 re-buy. This gets you 4500 in chips (with re-buy). The levels are 40 minutes, but the antes kick in after the 2nd level and blinds go way up. I get no cards and play almost no hands for the first two levels. I get a little agressive (in spots), but there were 2 calling stations at my table who had built large stacks. I sputter along until 20 people left ( out of 60) and go all-in with AK. Get called by pocket 8s and I fail to improve. The Caesars room is nice but it is out of the way in the casino down a long hall way. It is very quiet in the rooms which makes it seem dull. The dealers were good and the mgt was fine. I head back to PARIS to bed ( until BJ sucks me in for 3 hours) End day down $800.

I head over to Venetian @ 10 am . The poker room is very nice and spacious. There is one 2-5 tqble that has a list so I join a 1-2 n/l that is just starting. I buy in for 200 max. The very first hand I get 55 under the gun. I limp and it fold around to blinds- both call. Flop is 4 5 9--the SB bets 10 and I raise to 20-SB calls. the turn is 4 - 3 spades on board. SB bets 15, I re-raise to 35--SB all-in - I call and the SB shows quad 4s.. What a great way to start the day. SB only bought in for 100 so I only lose half my buy-in. I was soon moved to main game and had built up a stack to $400...I get AA and re-raise 4 limpers to $20. I get 5 callers. Flop comes A 5 9 - ALL CLUBS. I immediately know I hold a loser. Its checked to me and I fire out 25 to see where I stand- I get re-aised to 50..I call as does 1 other player. Flop is 2 CLUBS ( Are you F in kidding me). I check, re-raiser bets 60- both opps call. The Flop is Case Ace-Sweet Justice- the first bettor goes all in- I have him covered and call- the original re-raiser curses and folds nut flush face up. The other player shows pocket 5s for a full house and I collect a pot of around $600. I play until 5:30 and cash out ahead $700 for day. I go shower, grab a bite to eat, and return for 8pm tourny @ Venetian. But in was $125 for 1500 chips and 1 rebuy $100 and dealer bonus for a total of 4500 chips. Levels are 30 minutes - Approx 60 players. I start out decent, get a little ahead and got agressive. I built some chips and slow down as other players have realized they must make moves. I get no hands for 4 levels and get short stacked. I hang on until there a 11 players left and try to make final table (only top 5 paid.) I finally have to go all in after its folded to me on button with 10-6 ( I would have not lasted 1 more round with the antes and blinds). BB calls with Q J- I catc a 6 and stay alive. I gert to final table severly short stacked. First hand is A Q - I go all in and get no callers. Next hand is KK, I go all in and big stack on the blind calls with crap. I double up. Next hand is AK.. Im all in and get no callers. Next hand is A 9, I raise 3X blind and get no callers. Now I m in good position and I slow down. I hang on until I get down to final 2. Leader has a 5 to 1 chip lead. I offer her to chop if she gives me 100 of first place money ($2200 for 1st, 1650 for 2nd) She decline and I go all in for next 2 hands. She call my 67 with a 10. I catch a 6 and now were almost even. She wants the deal- I decline.. I out play her and catch her in chips. I offer to chop evenly pot evenly ( its qlmost 4am and Im dead) She agrees and we collect 2k each. I tip dealers 150 and call it a night. Up 2300 for day.

I change room To Wynn on thursday ( poker rate is 119 for 6 hours of play). I hit the poker room around noon. Its nice, but very crowded and tables close. I get on a 1-3 table. Buy-in is un-limited and I buy in for 500. I hate the 1 -3 since they use $3 chips. It sucks to count and multiply. I lose all-in with a made straight and st flush draw to a higher st. I down 500 first 2 hours. I battle back all day and finally get even when a make a nut flush after calling a large flop bet.. I play until 6pm and go to dinner. i play a few more hours that evening until I head to the BJ tables. I end day up 300 ( mostly from BJ). Overall- The Wynn poker room is nice- but the tables are too close. Dealers are excellent, with no mistakes.

I play 4 hours of un-inspired play on Friday before flight. I lose 100 in poker and promptly win 450 playing BJ and slots.
