What is a nit? In my opinion they are someone that wants to get every little thing they can get. Such as extra waters, free T-shirts, free hats, etc. In other works, any promotion they can get their hands on. They also like to run the game. Nits say things like: Am I logged in? Can we get a set-up? Give the deck a good wash.

So I wanted to spend the night as a nit. First I put on my casino T-shirt, the only one I had was treasure Island. Then I got my Orleans jacket, it was 95 degrees but I am a professional so I wore it. In all the years I have played in Vegas I have not gotten a cap. Mike said the Stations freeroll was the hottest nit accesary. I couldn't qualify for it so no hat.

Our adventure starts at Harrah's, or what I like to call LasVegasMike's office. We had a groupie along for the trip, GoingonTilt. He and Mike were already there. I play for 30 minutes and win $22 dollars. But more important, I ordered two waters and put them in my jacket on the way out.

Earlier in the day you folks had voted for the nittiest rooms in town. The top two vote getters were Binions and boulder. so we planned to go there. Binions was our first stop. To prove that it is a nit hang out, the world famous Kenny was in the room when we got there. Mike can provide you with his picture if you need it.

We started up a new 1-2nl game. I instantly jump into nit mode and demand a good washing or "scramble" of the deck. Mike did his part as a nit and bummed a smoke from Kenny. I won $22.

Mike and I walked over to the Golden Nugget and had dinner at about 7:45. I played Keno. We had a funny Keno runner. After I made my bet Mike was deciding whether to play or not. The Keno girl told him to "Keep his money." Later when I asked what 10 numbers pays she said, "I don't know." I like her, what a professional.

After dinner, we headed off to Boulder, the Hooka lounge for nits. I was excited. I mean how often to I get to go to Boulder. As we are waiting for a game, Mike smoked a cigarette. Being a gentleman, he didn't want to flick his ashes on the floor. So he saw a cup of coffee with no one sitting near it and he put his ashes in there. About a minute later the owner of the coffee sat down and took a drink. Important tip kids, don't leave your drink unattended. Especially with smokers around.

I get into a 4-8 game and win $46. Where you cash out at boulder, they have a bowl of candy sitting on the counter. To keep up my nitwit status, I took a whole handful.

After leaving boulder we headed to the Orleans, the Headquarters for all nits. One of the main attractions of the Orleans is there $3 rake. The best thing about the Oleans is that they never go dark. I get into a game of Omaha. At one point I want to change tables to sit with LVM. Two nit hotties, women who refuse to spend any money on make-up, complain when I want to leave the table. I finally get into Mike's game. I lose $99. I ask for a setup because I am a nit.

Overall I lose $10. It was a fun night spending time as a nit. I will not be doing that again. Some of the nit habits annoy me. These include setups, fourth seat change buttons (lol), washing the deck, constantly asking if I'm logged in, etc. I go to play for fun not to stuff as many waters as I can in my jacket.
