Excalibur 4-14 Oct
Plan was first 2 days low limit to get over jet lag, then $1/$2 NL and tournies. I never got over the sickness so it was low level limit all the way.
To you Brits - 8hrs time differnce is huge. It took me 3/4 days to adjust. The good news is Vegas never sleeps so when you wake at 3am just go downstairs and if you are lucky a game is in progress.
Hotel Excalibur - stayed here for cost reasons mainly and was pleasantly surprised. It met all of my requirements and I will not hesitate in staying there again.
Food - you can eat like a king in Vegas for $20 a day provided you use your comps senseibly. Get both an MLife and Harrahs card on day 1.
Excalibur - played here a lot, always active after 11am. Dealers good - Todd, Sho, Mr Lee, Greg. Nice promos involving a wheel spin made room interesting. Mix of locals and tourists. $3/$6 spread. Comps $1 ph
Mirage - Promos here involved playing 1 hand of VP. Once again mix of tourists and locals. Played $3/$6 limit. Locals mostly seniors.
The weather - wacky - people on strip in coats and with umbrellas for 2 days
Now back home still recovering from sickness but already planning next trip as Oct 2013 or Apr 2014
