Arrived in vegas Wed April 20.Got up and hit the
Flamingo poker room at about 06:30am thurday.Had to sit in the 2-4 no-limit because the 2-4 limited broke up with a dispute with a women and a dealer.I hit some decent hands, signed up for the tournament and still walked away with about $100 up.Played the tournament made it to 15th. and was happy to make it that far in my first tourney.The next morning i went down @ 6:00 again because i was staying at the Flamingo played the 2-4 limit game for about 2 hours and walked with $50.00 after paying for the tournament entry.Played the tourney and was the second person out.My intention was to check out the Aladdin and MGM during my stay but the Flamingo wait times were no more than 5 minutes
and the dealers and staff were polite and professional.The players were a mix of tourists and locals and i felt comfortable playing there it being my first poker room.All in all i left around $250.00 down over 4 days of playing at about 5 hours a day.The one wish i have is that the Flamingo comped for time spent in the poker room.I will return and try to make an effort to get to some other rooms.
