Vegas 3-23 to 3-26. Got in thurs nite, went to Sahara for the 11 pm tourney. Got there an hour early, played 2-4 and won my buy in for the tourney. This was just about the last good news I had. Sahara tourney is great structure, room is too warm, but not the end of the world. Second in chips at table just after the first break, playing well, hadnt had a misstep yet. Get JJ in the BB, two limpers and the SB are in at blinds of 150-300, i raise to 800, get reraised to 1600 by a limper, folds to me. Thinking I may be in trouble, so just call. Flop is KQJ, out of the corner of my eye I see him reaching, so I check, he bets 2000, I go all in for 7000 more. He takes a bit and calls with 10-10 for the open ended straight. rivers a 9, I am done.

Caesars the next day, great structure, period. 130$ buy in including the rebuy, 40 min blinds. built up to chip lead or second in chips by the break, quad 4s but was heads up so didnt get paid off like i wouldve liked. blinds are 200-400, two limpers, SB and I am BB. I get 88 and raise it to 1600 trying to take it right there. get a call from the other big stack, great. but a reluctant call. flop is KQ9, I bet 2000, reluctant call. He is either sucking me in, or who knows what he has, something weak. turn is a blank, i go all in for my last 7000, he thinks awhile, really feel he is going to muck, calls with A9. Good call, but dont see how you make that one, bluff with it yeah, but not the call. anyways, I am out.

go to paris, end up sitting next to william floyd, San Fran 49er with a bigass SB ring. totally cool guy, laid back, get into a hand with him and another player. 1-2 NL, i have KJ in the BB, he is SB and the other guy is MP. MP raises to 10$ folds around to us, he calls I call. flop is jj9. he bets 15$, i call, MP calls. turn is 8, he bets 20 i call, MP goes all in for 80 more. I feel i am beat, but if william lays it down, i am calling. he calls, now i think i am really beat. MP flips over Q-10, william flips J-5 and the river is another 8 giving him the boat. nice pot.

got myself back close to my 200$ buy in and cashed out. good came, mgmt and the dealers are very personable and funny as hell.

friday nite played 2-4 at binions, drank a load, surprised they didnt boot us for how loud we were. dont start the nite off with a brain freeze football on an empty stomach. all down hill after that.

guess thats about it, just got killed at cash games, two pairs, trips, nothing held up, then the next hand someone would take down a big pot with a single pair. guess thats the variance for ya.

made a decent comeback at the excaliber on sunday, AdJd, had TPTK and four to the flush, ram and jam a 2-4 pot and river the diamond or his straight wouldve held up. another hand i rivered my opened ended straight.

monte carlo nice room too, plenty of action, just was on the receiving end of most of the beats. hot waitress, not very tall, but veryyyyyyyyyy good looking.

low limit cash games are good anywhere i would assume, tourneys are sahara and caesars for the lower end buy ins.
