WAS JUST IN VEGAS THIS PAST WEEKEND GOT TO PLAY LOTS OF POKER AT BILL`S GAMBLING HALL WINNING THREE TOURNEYS OVER THE WEEKEND AND SCORING SOME EXTRA CASH ON THEIR FOOTBALL PROMOTIONS BETWEEN MYSELF AND MY WIFE GOT 49 ENTRIES FOR THE PROMOTION SCORING 1-SAFETY FOR $100.00 5-TOUCHDOWNS FOR $50.00 EACH AND 2-FIELD GOALS FOR $25.00 EACH...NOT TO MENTION ALL THE FUN IN BETWEEN LIKE WATCHING THE INDY CARS PARADE THRU LAS VEGAS STRIP AND THE MARGARITAVILLE BLOCK PARTY NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT 90 DEGREE WEATHER DAYS AND OUR ROOM AT THE IP WAS AWESOME WITH A HOT TUB AND ALL.....CANT WAIT TO COME BACK SOON.

Not sure where to post this because I didn't see a specific forum... this trip report got me thinking about solutions for a dilmma I have. My brother and I will be in Vegas in a couple of weeks. He is a big football fan and will want to sit out of playing poker to watch the Saints game to sweat a wager. I will want to play poker but would also like to get into a football promotion. Does anyone know who has good football poker promotions with a good sprots book/bar near the poker room, preferably near mid-strip?
I'm not sure about promotions, but I know that Bellagio and Mandalay both have poker rooms practically inside their sports books. MGM, Mirage, Caesars and Aria poker rooms are close to the sports books, but you can't actually see the big sportsbook TV screens from their poker rooms. I might be leaving other out, but not sure. Maybe someone else who is more familiar with specific room promotions can contribute as well.
