Day 1
Arrived in vegas on thursday the 30th around 4pm and checked in at the MGM signature. Told my friends that I was in town with that I would be in the poker room and come down when they wanted to go to dinner. Played 2-4 and 3-6 limit for about three hours, ran good and did not get sucked out on much, won $300 in three hours. great start to the trip. Walked down the strip to eat dinner at the cheesecake factory, which was amazing as always. After dinner we go back to the MGM and drink a little at the bar by the poker room. I wanted to be playing poker but have to spend time with my non-gambling friends. Later that night I played 2-4 limit again and did not run as well lost $85 in about 3 hours, table was short handed as it was real late so I went to play black jack, turned $75 into $150 and went to sleep about 7am.
$285 winner after day one.

Day 2 Halloween

Woke up around 10am, after showering I went right back to the poker room while my friends slept. Played 1-2 nl while waiting on a 2-4 or 3-6 limit table to start up. Played with some really nice guys for about one hour winning about $120 before the limit game started up. Move to the other side of the poker room and give all my nl winnings to those guys as I could not connect with anything. Move back to a 1-2 nl table play for about 30 minutes when my friends come down to get me for lunch, I tell them ten more minutes, in which I win $60 and go to lunch +$60 for the morning.
Lunch at LaSalsa was ok at best, then back to the poker room for some more 1-2. The give me the same seat I was in the first time I played nl that morning and the couple of guys I liked talking to where still there so I was happy about that. Buyin for $140 and make a bad play at a calling station so I reload and run that $200 buy in up when my out of the big blind wins a big pot when a 467 flop get checked then 6 on the turn villan has 56 for trips with open ender misses and my ace plays. We do not get it all in but it was a $300 pot. Cash out around $450 for a $110 win and go to the room to get ready for a crazy night.
We stayed close to home and went to Studio 54, I had a blast at this place, many many good looking ladies. Spent a good amount of money on drinks but got pretty drunk so thats all good. Around 4am I decided it would be a good idea to go to the poker room and play some 1-2 buy in for $140 at one of the best poker tables I have ever played at. Everyone was real cool and I had a blast playing with them. I drop my first buy in and reload for $200. I got everyone to tell me there name and where they where from, which seemed to make the table friendly. A really nice guy named Chris had a small problem with saying the "f" word after being given multiple warnings the floor decided it was time for him to go, but not before this final hand came up. I picked up 99 in middle position and raise to $15 preflop chris decides to come along saying the f word sometime during the preflop action and getting the floor called on him for the last time. The flop came K94 and I lead for $20 chris calling and the turn brings a Q. I lead for $50 and my buddy pushes on me, I think for a second and decide I am probably ahead so I call and he turns over KQ and he misses the four outter on the river. I stack him just in the nick of time as the floor ask him to leave. I head to bed around 8am after cashing out up around $150.

Day 3
Over sleep and dont get to the tables till around noon, miss getting in a couple of sports bets. Buy in to a 1-2 table for $150 grinding out a $50 winner for three hours not being able to get anything going till this hand comes up, I pick up Qd Jd in the small blind when a loose player raises to $15 in mid-position a couple of callers so I call, another caller then someone pushes all in for $25 straight, everyone calls the additional $10 dollars and the flop comes K109 rainbow!!!!!!!BINGO. I check from the small blind and a lady bets $25 guy next to her raises $25 more when it folds around to me and I figure I should shove to make sure I get it in with the best of it. Lady folds and guy calls of his last $115 with KJ and I take down a $500 pot. Cash out $525 a couple of hours later and go watch the second half of the texas tech game.
Meet up with a friend who just bought a house in vegas for dinner at the grand lux. After dinner me and my buddy go back to the MGM poker room and get seated into a 1-2 game next to each other. He is a real good player and will establish a wild table image which loosens up the table and then he tightens up and gets paid off. This table was also very fun with a mostly younger group of players. My friend won around $600 while I lost $350 on the night but had a blast.

That was the last of the poker on the trip.
Not sure of the exact amount of money I won playing poker but deff. in the positive since I had more money when I left then when I arrived and lost on sports and spent a good amount on food and in the club.
