I got rivered way too many times. Had my aces and kings cracked about 8 times I think. Was playing the 4-8 half kill at Red Rock and this local rock woman was on the flush draw with my set of 8's. We were on the kill so the betting was 6-12. She rivered me with her ace high flush and cracked my set of 8's. I raised and raised and could not get rid of her on her draw. Boy it hurt losing a whole rack on one hand. Now I know, there are way too many locals and off duty poker dealers at Green Valley and Red Rock which makes the competition too stiff for a newbie like me.
