stayed at the Luxor, found out they had no 2-4 anymore. first nite played (late) at the Excal since the Luxor only had 3-6. Made about $60 in a couple hrs so tried 3-6 at the Luxor. Cashed out down about $10 after an hour and went to bed. Next nite headed to the Excal, got proposition by 2 hookers on the moving walkway! played for 2-3hrs and lost about $25. Next morning dropped my wife at the Mall and played the $50 tourney at the Riviera. 45 entrants pay top 3. about the 4th hand I got A7o in the BB, called the raise to $100. flop comes A78 rainbow I bet $300 get 1 caller. turn is another A, I bet another $300 get called. river is nothing, figure I got the best with A's over 7's and go all-in thinking it would be nice to double up. he has A8o and takes me out! dumb move on my part I guess. That nite played at the Excal again. bought in for $60, had it up to almost $180 with some crazy suck-outs. drank a bit and probably made some dumb moves but still cashed out up $85. My last nite I played at the MC for an hr, lost $20. Went to the MGM but the wait for 2-4 was long so back to the Excal. It was about 10pm and I was hoping to play into the wee hrs. Bought in for $60 had it up to almost a $100 but could not catch anything worth mentioning from then on. By 1am I had lost my $60 plus another $25, since the cards were not coming I packed it in. I did not mind the Excal and look forward to trying MGM next time out.
