No Limit Hold'em. Bellagio, Venetian, Orleans, Harrah's, and Aladdin.
Buddy and I go to Vegas to play mostly No Limit Hold'em at the Bellagio and Venetian. Along the way play some at Harrah's, Orleans, and Aladdin.
Arrived in Vegas friday afternoon and went to Venetian for some 1-2 No Limit Hold'em. Have played here before and it is one of my favorite rooms. Room is well run and extremely comfortable. Lots of space between tables and the nicest chairs in any room you will play. Some pretty solid play especially for a 1-2 game.
Started off a little anxious and played to loosely and dumped 200 into the game. Switched tables to get away from creepy dude with blair witch t-shirt on. Caught a few nice hands and built my stack back(my fav hand 9-7 got me back to even when i river full house against lady slow playing her flush on turn.)
Venetian has girls there that give massages for 2 bucks an hour. Got my first one this time for 10 minutes. Feel great but lost about 100 bucks playing while i was getting massaged.
Ended up ahead 300 for the day after playing a 3 hour session at Harrah's on way back to hotel. Weird lineup of players in the 1-2 NL game at harrah's.
Next day we headed for some 2-5 NL action at the Bellagio. Bellagio always has good action and we were looking forward to it. Opened a new 2-5 game within 15 minutes. Friend got stuck a few hundred and I ended up grinding out 200. I think the Bellagio is one of the best rooms in all of vegas. Only complaints would be crowdedness but the action more than makes up for it. Lots of tourists come thru Bellagio games to dump a few hundred every time i am there.
Next day back to the Bellagio to play 5-10 NL for myself and my friend went to 15-30 Limit Hold'em. All the pros were here this day for the Tourneys going on. Saw Doyle, Gus, Freddy, Sammy, Barry Greenstein, Paul Darden, Shannon Elizabeth, etc.....
I sat in the 5-10 NL Game for 600 and buddy goes and sits at 15-30 Limit. We play for about 5 hours and both clear over a thousand. Him 1200 and 1040 for me. Key hands for me were when I hit full house against guy who turned three 2's. Beautiful river card when there is already 900 in the pot. Picked up a few other nice pots but this one made the day.
Dumped a few hundred at the Aladdin the 2nd night while drunk. Always a bad idea. Played some 1-2 NL the last day at Orelans. Decent game with some nice players. Mostly social game with one drunk mumbler on tilt.
So all in all it was a good trip and I would definitely recommended playing at the Venetian and Bellagio. Didn't make it there on this trip but Red Rock is a great room to for 1-2 and 2-5 NL. Good luck at the tables...unless i'm in the hand.
