I know this isn't a trip report, but I didn't know where to send this. I received this information from MGM poker management. :( MGM Grand will be opening their 25-table pokerroom on March 28th. It will be non-smoking, with all 25 tables featuring automatic shufflers and a newer product known as "Genesis". This will allow dealers to swipe a players card at the table to earn comps, as well as a paging system for the waitresses and to order food. The room will spread many limit games, such as 2-4, 4-8, 6-12, and many no-limit games. From what I've gathered, they have a great philosophy: customer service will be their #1 priority. Looking forward to this room opening even more so than Wynn. I guess the Wynn room will resemble the Bellagio, with the higher stakes games. MGM will be more tourist-friendly.
