Tournament and Cash Action Part 1
Spent 10/20 thorugh 10/24 in LV, trying to step up my live tournament action. Played the Binons 150 on 10/20, not much memorable, busted in 27 of 90 something, crippled fairly early with a bad call, played short stacked for a few rounds and tripled twice. The new room was amost complete
Played 1/3 at TI that night and took away a 950 profit mostly from a couple of drunks who didnt care and kept reloading a $100 at a time. TI as always is a great small room but appeared to be a little dead that week.
Stepped up and the played the 550 prelim event for the Caesers Classic on 10/21 a day or two after Micheal Phelps had gotten all the attention. This was my first tourney buy in of this size. Went in with low expectations as it was a learning experience paid for with profit from TI the night before. About 330 runners lasted a few levels busting at 220. JJ Liu was at the table, friendly, talkative but appeared uninterested in the level of the game. It was good to take a stepup More later
