Do yourself a favor and go to the Orleans and play in the $75 noon tournament. 30 minute levels 7500 in chips and well run. Expect about 60% locals who are on the grind. I actually chopped for 1st and won $980. This is by far the best turnout for a noon tourney and best structure. 55 runners I believe. If you like Omaha this is the only place to play hi-lo limit. I also played in the excalibur 35$ (AM tourney and chopped 3 ways for like $145. 30 runners. This is a good little warm up for a noon tourney. I also played in the 11am MGM tourney for $70 and was 2 out of the money at 5th. I also played in the TI 2 pm tourney and BUBBLED in 4th. If I had to do it over again I am just going to stay in the Orleans and get the poker room rate of $39. The strip is just like running through a landmine of drunk idiots. There always seems to be a NY know it all in almost all of the rooms. They just don't shutup and can't take a loss well at all. I got up and walked away 3 times because they absolutelu ruined my time and I wasn't even engaging them. It was some other poor soul.
