Got into Vegas Friday nite, Dec 2nd. Checked into the Tuscany, got something to eat and hit the 3-6 limit to play with a buddy who had never played poker at a casino(or online). He proceeded to double up his 100$ in about an hour while I proceeded to get whittled down. Typical 3-6 table, everyone to the flop, even with an early preflop raise. One guy even tried to justify playing a 2-4o after I raised with AA under the gun. I just laughed. That was it for me. Crashed, ate breakfast at Binions and played the 2 pm tourney, we doing well, made a stupid call and finished 30th out of 180. Saturday nite played NL 1-2 at the Tuscany and turned 200 into 500 over a 7 hour stretch. Very good game. Sunday night played the Binions tourney, higher buy in, less turnout. 45 people in. Made final table 3-4th in chips. Got caught in a bluff early on, and barely hung on for the bubble. Sucked. Paris 1-2 NL from 4-620 pm, turned 120 into 400. Caught aces on third hand, 100$ pot and it went well from there. Pulled off a good bluff with a K-4o, all the way to the river before I got the person to fold. Scary, but part of the game. She had a weak J, Ace hit on river, good for me, bad for her.

Paris was a very nice poker area, love to play the tourneys at Binions, the rooms at tuscany are inexpensive and huge, and the poker game at the tuscany, NL, is a good one too, good mix of fish and decent players. Just gotta figure out who is who, and go from there.

Good luck.
