I moved to Edmonton a few years ago and my first place of residence was in the west-end. So, I decided to visit the Yellowhead because it was in the area. The building itself was nice and I liked the layout. The poker room was somewhat separated from the rest of the casino which I liked a lot. The other players weren't the easiest people to feel comfortable around, but the dealer was very friendly. Overall it was a nice experience for my first Alberta casino. I live downtown now so it's a little out of the way but I would consider returning if the time is right.
