This is a great poker room with comfortable chairs, clean felt, good spacing, a d good lighting. The dealers are as good you'll find in Las Vegas with very few excellent. Cards and chips are clean and food and beverage service is adequate. Most of the floor supervisors are friendly and competent and the tournament staff might be the best in town. Special kudos to Barry, Chris, Ryan, Heather, Matt, and Sam.
The player pool is great and there are games running for everyone at all levels and rakes are lowest in town. Definitely a player centric room. The only flaw is in some of their absurd policies and a couple of very bad apples in management, especially with shift managers who have infinite power without accountability. Rule and policy enforcement is very inconsistent with no opportunity for any spontaneous appeal. A decision is made and, if you're kicked out, that's it. There is no recourse. This is especially egregious when you speak certain forbidden words. It's like George Carlin's Seven Words. Context is t even considered. You can tell a close friend to F-off while both of you are laughing but if overheard by the wrong person you're out! Someone else can justo up to fight, knocking over chips, and they're back playing in two days. I'm not the only one who feels this way. As a full time player, I've heard and witnessed this too many times. Even the dealers feel they'd walking on eggshells. That's sad.
