Tropicana Poker is one of two Tropicana licenses, the other being Virgin Poker. Both are tied into the Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City.
Company
The Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City is on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. It's owned by Tropicana Entertainment. Tropicana Entertainment runs eight casinos, seven in the U.S. and one in Aruba. It formerly owned the Tropicana in Las Vegas but no longer controls that business.
Interactive Gaming Partners
Tropicana Poker is expected to be one of the two online poker sites whose software platform will be operated by Gamesys. It is unknown at this time whether Virgin and Tropicana sites will be sharing player pools.
