Poker isn't legal in Idaho, so of course there are plenty of underground rooms to choose from in Boise. I've played in them.
Despite these closer options to me, I still drive just over the border to Ontario to play at Action's multiple times per week. They have the best dealers, solid promos, cash games with a lot of money on the table, and tournaments with a good structure for a local card room. The attached bar and grill is also a pretty nice perk. They definitely make it worth the drive.
