Excellent location by the casino floor. Tables and chairs are top notch. One quibble is that the room could use more TVs. Room has a fun, energetic vibe. I've played here a lot during six trips over the past year, and it has eclipsed the Venetian as the best big room on the Strip.
Good mix of tourists and local sharks. At the 1/3 & 2/5 NLHE games, competition is comparable to other big rooms. The 1/3 PLO is generally softer than the Venetian game.
Dealers are generally very good, generally friendly. A room this big will get a few duds, but they are few and far between. I had one horrific experience with a dealer openly favoring a friend at the table, but that appears to have been an isolated instance. Overall, dealers handle PLO and mixed games well.
Regular service, top shelf booze (Patron), great non-alcoholic beverages (hot green tea, watermelon juice, pomegranate juince).
Management goes out of its way to promote PLO and mixed games, and accommodate special events/tourneys. Tourneys are well-structured and well-run. Good use of Twitter for promotions.
Comps of $1-$3/hour (depending on time of day) on MGM card. Glad they do not have HHJs or BBJs. Excellent poker room rates available.
