Very classy atmosphere - just what a poker room should look like. Lots of tables without feeling crowded. Very nice color scheme. The open floor plan is inviting to walk by players. The sound from the main casino does not compete with the ambiance of the room. And most importantly, some of the nicest looking chips in Las Vegas.
The overall competition is solid in this room. While there are some inexperienced players, the majority are competent and some are very good.
I liked the dealers here. They kept the game running smoothly and were very technically proficient. When they engaged in conversation it did not slow the game down. Overall they seemed to be having a good time.
One of the few places in Las Vegas you can order top shelf liquor and beer in the poker room. The cocktail waitresses were fast, friendly, accurate, and quite aesthetically pleasing.
Although the room is very busy, wait times for a seat at cash games were minimal. Management walks you to your table and your chips arrive promptly. Tournaments started on time and were run efficiently. I really like that they are responsive here on AVP and on Twitter.
Very generous comps at $2 per hour all day and $3 per hour between 5:00 and 10:00 AM for the all nighters and early risers.
