Just spent a few days in Vegas to play poker....mostly tourneys. Wanted to play more at Aria since it was my favorite...HOWEVER, they are so busy now they are unable to adequately support tournaments (at least the 7PM one).
1st night I was there, it didn't start until 7:25 with 3 open tables and a alternate list of 13....they didn't have any other tables to add.
So, I hoped this was abnormal...I head over again around 7:15PM and they just started, and I joined as alternate #6 and waited for over 30 minutes to get my seat....the problem is that you can't be late AND you can't expect to rebuy and get a timely seat.
Dealers, service, and ambiance are still very good, but I do see degradation from the past.
