The room is only a couple years old, and it shows. Everything is in remarkable shape and the aesthetic is very pleasing.
Fairly average competition. Nobody really wowed me (between 1-3 and their nightly tournament.) Everyone played pretty transparent poker, and you just need to be aware and you'll avoid mistakes.
Very good dealers, mechanically. They seemed like fun personalities to me, but they maintained the action well. Sometimes dealers can get distracted by chatter, but Aria dealers managed the game well.
They had 2 very beautiful and dedicated servers just for the poker room. Their selection was amazing and their service was very fast. Can't ask for more.
Very good management. I was standing about 6 feet away from a tournament table at one point and I was asked to step away. Usually telling me to do something is grounds for some serious fury, but the manager shook my hand, introduced himself, and was very cordial. I calmly stepped away not feeling like I was "ordered" to do so. They were very kind and professional.
Best comp rates in the city. Didn't see any promotions like jackpots, but that doesn't mean they didn't have them. They give $2/hr most times and $3/hr during the graveyard. But I guess that compensates for their inflated food prices. It's an MGM property, so no TR...but overall I was pretty pleased.
