I ended up in this room as a day off from skiing. As is the case in most of the Colorado casinos that I visited the tournament had a lot more players than cash games. That may be due to the $100 max bet and that NLH games are not allowed. So what you see are 2-100 limit spread games that take some getting used to. Clearly more locals than tourists. What was most memorable was the obnoxious person found at every table. One was ranting about the illegality of the Federal Income tax and at the other table we endured a survey of favorite books, singers and movies. I have NEVER asked for a table change befor and it didn't do any good because I moved from the tax hater to the social surveyor's table. As to the play, I think tight ABC worked well as other players were willing to pay to see my cards and most would bet to the river with a pair. Finally, I may be wrong but the rake seemed high @$5 max plus $2 to the jackpot. Won $45 in an hour and left.
