Negative 5 Stars
I played at this room quite a few times over the years and I have too many horror stories to share them all in the word cap for a review so I'll just include a few.
1. I tried to start a brand new 5/10$ no limit game here once 4 handed ..
There was a long list and most believed it would fire up right away as a full game however this did not happen we sat around and waited and waited for more players to arrive finally myself and another local professional poker player (who is VERY well known and respected in the world of Professional No-Limit holdem however will remain nameless here out of respect)
Suggested why don't we just start the game 4 handed and play short till more show up ..
This was AFTER we sat around for well over 20 minutes EASILY and no I am not exaggerating realistically it was probably a half hour or more.
Finally the floor man allows the game to start after much argument between him and (respected local professional)
There was less than Five minutes to go in the half hour and he VERY rudely and disrespectfully DEMANDED we pay the time rake for the remaining 3 minutes of the half hour!
And then pay again in 3 minutes!
FULL PRICE mind you! Or as far as he was concerned and I quote...
'' you people could go play somewhere else for all I care and stop wasting my time"
2.
Another Very good friend and well respected local professional player who has given me permission to use his first name only for the purposes of this review
Phil was playing in one of their cramped tables lost a pot busted out and could not get a path out of the room because the tables were so stuffed together. He asked begged and pleaded for some path to be cleared so he could walk out of the room and retire for the night.
He then was all but forced to walk on top of a table to get out... He was trespassed for life from all MGM owned properties.
That's all the energy I have for this topic as even the mere thought of this poker room raises my blood pressure through the roof...
I wouldn't play at this poker room if it was the only poker room still operating on planet earth and all others had been destroyed by an alien invasion...
Id rather play in a back alley of a warzone butt Naked in sub zero temperatures sitting in 6 feet of snow with moldy cardboard pizza box as a table rusty old bottle caps for chips broken beer bottles as drinking glasses, where the only cocktails were dug out of a trash bin and a blind ranting lunatic throwing the cards at us was the dealer!!!!
Playing heads up against my hero a poker brat as he berated me till the end of time for calling off my stack with KK on a board of AAKK3
When everyone left in the poker world with an attached brain stem would have known he had to have had EXACTLY AA because we were still playing 25 rusty bottle caps deep!
In the background was a Demonic hymn sung by the invading Alien Overlord from another Galaxy alongside the Devil Himself about, me being the stupidest donkey in the history of poker when anyone that could spell the first letter P in poker would have been smart enough to wait for a better spot as he did!
If you've ever watched or played against him you'd know EXACTLY the type of endless rant I was referencing.
AT LEAST I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PLAY AT THE BELLAGIO!!!
Darn grateful there was an alternative cause I'm an avid poker player!
Action was putrid never ever saw even a decent game!
No promotions
Comps are a joke!
You'll wait so long for a drink you might die of thirst!
Horrible prices for average at best food!
They probably charge for parking!
This poker room treated me and many other swell gentlemen I'm proud to call friends that made a living playing poker in Las Vegas like we were sub human trash not worthy of playing at the worst poker room in the entire history of the las Vegas strip!
( If curious about the worst poker room I've ever seen in the history of Earth that's the Luckia In Bogata Columbia,)
See reviews of poker rooms of Columbia ie South America for full details.
I'd give this poker room negative 5 stars if they allowed it
1 star is FAR more than this room deserves.
I wouldn't recommend this room to my worst enemy!
