1). Floor personnel are amicable and follow up with a high level of professionalism. Overall level of class with all levels of employees in total.
2). Well lit and clean environment to play in either in the main room or the low stakes limit/no limit areas. There is a sense of newness throughout this property.
3). Restaurants and cafes are inviting and offer great options. As another reviewer pointed out, table side dining while playing poker is an option.
Need to improve:
1). Lack of game selection. This poker room would make a killing if they offered Big O or Omaha 8/b as an option. A $6/$12 and higher limit variant would take so much market share from the Commerce. Looking for PLO under a $500 buy-in? Look elsewhere. Stud High + 8/b or Mexican Poker? Not here.
2). The $300 High Hand promo needs to be offered more frequently or have one day out of the week where it is even higher. Need a good promotion? Look at the Commerce "Poker Knockdown" board.
3). A rewards/comp program for limits at $2/$3 No Limit or $8/$16!LHE and under needs to be implemented. Why are these players not accommodated or compensated in any way for the rake they contribute.
This is a nice bare bones environment if you want to play poker. However, don't any expect game variety whatsoever or to be compensated for your play while enjoying promotions.
