I've been playing up in north Austin because the tournaments are larger and there's more stuff going on, but do not skip over Bullets.
This is one of the best environments to play poker in especially if you're wanting a more lowkey game. They know how to make that classic south Austin charm be showcased in the card room.
Hands on management is always a plus. One guy at my table was incredibly stressed out and they dealt with it in a highly professional way, dealers are solid and everything just feels more casual and fun than the larger houses while still being the same level of quality. A hard duality to manage but they pull it off at Bullets.
