Enjoyed my visit to the Harrah's casino in New Orleans and it's poker room. Let me start off with the extras of the casino. There is a great variety of places to go and indulge your taste buds. From the huge all you can eat buffet to great seafood from the Oyster House, among other great selections. Now to the gambling part of the casino. They provide all the choices of gambling that you want; like blackjack, craps and roulette just to name a few. They also have a bar/music towards the middle of the casino, here you can even bet at blackjack while jamming out with the DJ's putting on a show. I also visited the poker room and in there was a lot of action. They have 4-8 limit tables up to 5-10 no-limit Texas hold'em games and as well as an occasional Omaha PLO running (which i like). The poker room was managed great plus the dealers are very informative and friendly. You will see your different characters at the table, from your tough local players that talked to the dealers by first name to your aggressive tourist that splashes every pot. Overall a good experience to explore. Will visit again soon.
