I went there on a Friday night and waited over two hours on the list to play cash games. The management knew I was American and did not speak Spanish, so they took advantage of it and took me off the list entirely despite me literally not leaving from the poker room.
Honestly, I expected to be moved down on the list or something because it is common for poker room managers in other countries to give priority to regulars, but taking me off the list completely after two hours and not even having my name called to see if I was still there just completely set me off. When I complained, they first said that I never put myself on the list, then when I said I did, they said they called my name but I wasn't there, so I told them to check the cameras because it was an obvious lie, and then they kept just saying very rudely to my wife "Do you want to play or not!?" not even offering an apology.
It's just infuriating when they act like it's your fault and not theirs after they quite clearly discriminated against you. The upper management apologized after I made a complaint and even offered me a coffee and offered to seat me at a game away, but I was just too upset since it was already 2 AM and I was angry, so I wanted to avoid playing tilted.
All I am saying is that it is important to make it clear right away that you are there and you are not going to tolerate them taking advantage of you, because they 100% will.
Also, if I would have offered them a $5 or $10 USD bill, I would have probably been seated right away.
