Have you ever noticed that there is an enormous amount of coolers? Yesterday I was informed of some shocking revelations. I was informed that the deck mate 2 shuffler does not shuffle the cards in a traditional way that we would think.
It is actually programmed to set the cards in a predetermined order. Allow me to explain. When the cards are placed into the shuffler, it does NOT matter what order the cards are in when they are placed into the shuffler. It could be a brand new deck or a shuffled deck. The shuffler will sort the cards with the internal camera and place them in the predetermined order it's programmed to. The software has settings which the vendor (casino) inputs into the shuffler. To create medium hands up to high action hands. There is a limit authorized by The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. However, AGCO has no way of policing or they just couldn't be bothered. In other words the vendor can do what they want with these shufflers.
This is a serious issue that all poker players need to be made aware of in order to protest against the Casinos in order have this issue resolved.
All the players can ask for is a fair game where the cards aren't placed in a predetermined order which are meant to create action. If you feel this isn't a fair way to operate a poker environment that is supposed to cater to its customers please let your concerns be heard! All of us will benefit if procedures are put in place to protect the integrity of our game!
