This place has great tournament structure, as well as solid buy ins for both low and high stakes. Unfortunately I feel like the tournament director is trying to do to much in the wrong areas. Why in the world, on a Saturday night, would you do a dueces wild tournament? It is straight gambling and is just a waste of money. And half the time, the dealers that push into the tournament for the first time that night, have no idea that its deuces wild (not their fault, it shouldn't be a thing anyway). It looks like it does ok, but why not do a traditional $100-$125 single green chip bounty tournament? I feel like it would be a hit especially on the weekend. Also, double board bomb pot tournament? I get it, they want to be unique, but how about a $100-$250 standard PLO tournament? I just feel like the effort is not focused in the right areas. Another issue, and I get that it is a standard in the Tampa area, but start posting every single to hendon mob. For the regulars that play AND CASH $60-$80 tournament's, they should be counted on hendon mob. IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT LONG TO UPLOAD 2 TOURNAMENTS A DAY. If you constantly place top 5, especially in the BULKY fields, the money adds up and should be shared. Overall is a good room, especially the tournaments. MOST dealers are good, some are horrible, and some are great. Most of the tournament brushes do a fantastic job. Would love to see derby take advantage of what they have. Grea facility that is under utilized. That falls on TOP management, those above the tournament director and floor-man.
