Good game well run. Seems like a lot of locals who know each others habits. New player can do well by just playing it straight and raising to $4.They seem to think you're bluffing.
Defended my blind to the flop, and played my button, otherwise only played premium hands and came away a big winner after only a few hours. Played only 7 or 8 hands (folded all weak stuff) and never had to revile the nuts as opponents folded after I raised max.
Folks were nice even when losing.
Low limit kept the pots low.
