They claim they will be reopening in another location but who knows if that actually happens or not.
The issues:
1 - 2 tables running, max, at peak time.. like 11P on a Saturday evening peak.. its kind of crazy.
Elevator broken. Not a big deal for me, I'm fat.. I totally need the exercise.. but for some of the older people / those with mobility issues? Ooof.
NO food service. Order a pizza and have it delivered, basically.
Dealers have basically no training (I don't fault them for this.. it just makes situations outside the 'norm' (i.e. multiple side pots or angle shoots or questionable player actions) really throw them off.
Dealers double as drink servers / literally bag up and take out the garbage - just unfortunate.
They apparently gave their staff a whopping FIVE days notice before they were closing and also informed them if anyone tried to take a day off during the last few days they would NOT be rehired when they reopened in the future.
Definitely some favorites being played w/ the regulars in the room. I haven't seen it as much recently but I have definitely seen players who are there often get away with stuff (specifically, angle shoots) that they'd be called on the carpet for anywhere else.
Look - I hope they reopen (for the staff's sake and the communities sake as they were by far the closest place to play) and I hope they get their act a lot more together.. (i.e. bringing back tournaments, for starters) - I just hold precious little hope based upon previous experience at the location. We'll see though.
