This Casino is Stunning! Overall a beautiful 5 star Casino-Hotel, but Poker room is sadly disappointing! The looks and feel is a solid 5 Star, starting with the chairs - hands down the most comfortable Leather chairs out of every poker room I have ever been to! (Beautiful too) The decor is better then most Vegas poker rooms, resembling the ENCORE poker room..with the blue color scheme and a modern glam vibe, there was no skimping when it came down to the design. And that's where The GOOD PART ENDS!
I PLAY POKER! I'm not here for the casino at all, just a good poker session and that's where it goes BAD. Poker Room had 4 tables at 9 o'clock and I mean 4 total -- two 1-3 nl (500 max buy in and up to the largest stack at the table) one 2-5 1000 buy in and a 5-10 all being able to buy in up to the largest stack at the table (this is another huge plus) They said its a LITTLE busier on weekends but even then this is slow. I go to Cali to play Poker and the rest of the casino really doesn't matter to me at all! I really hope this Poker Room will find a way to bring people in, and fast cause I dont think this room is going to be a success if they don't hurry up and figure out how to draw some poker players in here to play! The staff was really just absent, not welcoming to new faces and catering to the locals, witch was 95% of the players there! Cocktail servers were very rude, bad attitudes! Like no thank you when you tip and getting them to come back was never going to happen!
There are way too many great Poker Rooms in California. Don't waste your time here, you will be highly dissatisfied!
If you're looking for a good poker room, this is definitely NOT GOING TO BE IT!
