As far as the poker itself goes, game can be really, REALLY good. Players aren’t generally slow, relatively soft and you can get nice pots with regularity.
Then there are the people that work there. When not actively ignoring the room by posting an especially poignant and profound FB or Instagram note at the pit stand, they’re rather ignorant with the tables and poker itself. Players have been shown colluding on pots (mucking a winner to a friend short on chips who is all-in) and staff refused to do anything about it. “Well, it’s not a big pot” was the answer. And that’s when one actually speaks English.
Dealers are arrogant and entitled especially on day shift. Never say thank you for tips, argue with players about basic rules like awarding pots before surrendering cards, etc. I refuse to tip any amount to dealers.
