I drove 3 hours to enter in the poker tournament when I arrived I was told the buy in was between 430 and 530. Not any later. They where taking people in an hour and a half after we started. When I asked about it they said it would raise the winnings. It also changes the dynamics of the game. As people get out the field of players gets smaller not bigger. The worst run tournament I've ever been in, and I've been playing tournament Texas Holdem for 20 plus years.
