Played on a Thursday had 6 to 7 games going all day. The action was great with lots of money on the tables. The vast majority of players were there to have fun, drink, and splash around in pots.
You get Cesar reward and tier credits for playing, and drinks are on the house. The dealers were professional and focused, pitched a fast game, kept the action moving, even throwing in a little witty banter without getting distracted.
The management had the room running smoothly, even though they had to sit in and deal some downs. There is a shortage of dealers throughout the industry and Harvey's seems to be thriving despite that.
The one negative is the hours of operation. They are only open 3 PM to 1 AM Thursday through Sunday. They don't have the dealers to keep the games going through the night and have to close the room with tables still playing.
It was great to play live poker again, even though I took a loss. Looking forward to my next trip to Tahoe
