The Columbus room is run by prople I really like. However, operationally it is maddening. The Eternally short staffed cage will stick you in line for a ridiculous wait. There’s no budget for chip runners and Ohio overregulates to the point that the staff is terrified of losing $5. So you get a $1500 well that has to be constantly counted down, and managament has to watch every reload. Twice.
Max Rake is $5 plus $2 for bonuses, so you’re getting raked harshly in pots $50 or less. Luckily for Hollywood, there’s a state imposed constitutional monopoly in place, so we all still play there. And don’t go to relax and have a drink, you’re looking at over $5 for a 12 oz beer with tip. And, slow service of course, because what other choice do you have?
